Dr. Timothy O’Boyle is a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine, and completed his internship at the Baylor Affiliated Hospitals. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the LSU Eye Center. Dr. O’Boyle is the former chief of Ophthalmology at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, and has been in private practice with Professional Eye Associates since 1991. Dr. O’Boyle specializes in cataract surgery, including new technology lenses, laser vision correction (LASIK) and in laser treatment for diabetic eye disease.
Dr. Tim O'Boyle received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1981. His Ophthalmology residency was done at the LSU Eye Center from 1983-1986. He has been practicing general Ophthalmology with Professional Eye Associates since 1991 where he performs laser treatments for diabetic retinopathy, cataract surgery and refractive surgery. Dr. O'Boyle is both our diabetic specialist and a trained laser vision correction surgeon.
