Thank you for choosing Professional Eye Associates for your eye care needs.  We look forward to serving you.  To prepare for your first appointment with us, please review the following.

Please bring with you:

• Your medical insurance and/or vision care plan card;
• A list of any medications you are currently taking;
• If you currently wear eyeglasses, reading glasses, or contact lenses, please wear or bring these with you.

What to expect:
Please be aware that your first appointment may take up to 2 hours.  A complete eye exam requires dilation of the eyes in order for the doctor to accurately assess the health of your eyes.  Dilation drops are put in the eyes, and usually take between 20-40 minutes to take effect.  Depending upon your health and any vision problems you may be experiencing, other tests may also be required.  If you require eyeglasses or contacts, please be sure to plan adequate time to select eyewear that best suits your needs.
