Dr. Tyler Fisher’s philosophy of care centers on providing each patient with the best possible vision while making sure they feel heard and understood. He takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, answer their questions, and provide attentive, personalized care without making them feel rushed during their visit.
Dr. Fisher has expertise in diagnosing and managing common eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye. He also frequently performs contact lens fittings, helping patients find vision correction suited to their individual needs. His broad clinical experience supports personalized care focused on protecting and improving vision health.

Dr. Fisher’s path to eye care was inspired by his grandfather, an optometrist and someone he has always looked up to. Drawn to the variety within the field, Dr. Fisher enjoys caring for patients with a wide range of eye conditions and continually strengthening his knowledge across all areas of eye health.
Practicing in Northwest Georgia has given Dr. Fisher the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients who value getting to know their providers as individuals. Dr. Fisher’s Education and Background in Optometry
Dr. Fisher began his academic journey at Southern Adventist University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2021. He continued his education at Southern College of Optometry, earning his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2025.
During his clinical training, Dr. Fisher distinguished himself through his dedication to patient care and clinical skills. Supervising doctors recognized him as one of the best student doctors they had worked with in more than 20 years of training interns.
